Since 1973, Hamilton Centers Youth Service Bureau, Inc/Promising Futures of Central Indiana has been meeting the needs of youth and families throughout Hamilton County and beyond. Promising Futures is a private not for profit agency whose residential care programs are licensed by the Department of Child Services.

Promising Futures of Central Indiana mission supports the Prevent Child Abuse of Indiana’s approach. There approach serves as a “catalyst for preventing child abuse in all its forms and to enhance the quality of life for children and families in Indiana. Their vision is to live in a state where children flourish, free from abuse and neglect”. Promising Futures of Central Indiana supports their vision through the Hamilton County Chartered Council which ensures that there is a unified and continuous voice advocating for child abuse prevention services and programs throughout Hamilton County and Indiana.
Hamilton County Child Abuse Prevention Council promotes a safer place for children and raises awareness of child abuse in the community by finding solutions to the problem. These include offering resources to individuals, families and other organizations, and advocating to develop programs and policies to prevent child abuse. Valuing children, strengthening families, and engaging the community are part of their core values. The mission is to enhance the quality of life for children and families in Hamilton County. The council networks together with other councils and organizations for their cause and consider forming other alliances that are needed to achieve prevention. The council hosts awareness events through out the year.
