With the recent excitement and subsequent stress of the holidays, many parents are physically and emotionally exhausted, searching for ways to make it through the rest of this winter. The season is hard enough with dreary skies, shorter days, and cold weather. Add in tweens and teenagers cooped up at home, unable to go outside, complaining of boredom, and misbehaving and you have parents finding themselves at their wits end, or as my mother used to say, “worn down to a nub”.
