Full Time Employment Opportunity – Youth Supervisor

The Pregnant and Parenting Teens Program of Promising Futures is seeking a full-time Youth Supervisor.   Youth Supervisors work in the residential program with the teen mothers and their children.  They are responsible for the supervision, safety and care of the residents during their assigned shift.  They maintain a home-like atmosphere that focuses on the physical, social, emotional, educational and self-discovery needs of the residents.  Youth Supervisors provide transportation, some child care, and activities for the residents.  They work with the teen mothers on completing their goals for the program.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred.  Applicants should have a passion for working with adolescents, excellent people skills, able to communicate effectively and mentally, and be physically and emotionally able to assume responsibility for the care of all the clients within the home.   Applicants must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.  We are currently looking for someone to work 40 hours per week, qualifying them for benefits.
The hours for this position are the following:
11:00pm-7:00am Saturday-Wednesday

Youth and Family Therapist

Promising Futures of Central Indiana is seeking a part time (20-30 hours per week) therapist charged with the responsibilities of providing assessments and counseling services for Promising Futures of Central Indiana clients which include; Anger Management, Clinical, Pregnant and Parenting Teens, Safe Place, and Host Homes programs. The number of hours for the position are based on the number of counseling sessions that the therapist has, and has the potential to be a full time position if the caseload warrants this. The counseling services include individual, family and/or group therapy, as well as therapeutic supervised visitation. This position relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish Clinical and Anger Management goals. Scheduling of the sessions will be based on client availability, and may occur in the evenings and/ or weekends. There are on-call responsibilities with the position. This position has direct contact with, care of and supervision over youth who are less than eighteen years of age.
The position requires a master’s degree in social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or related field from an accredited college or university along with a minimum of three years related clinical experience or a master’s degree with a clinical license issued by Indiana Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist or Mental Health Counselor Board as one of the following: 1) Clinical Social Worker 2) Marriage and Family Therapist 3) Mental Health Counselor.
